I want to order multiples of a pledge level.
No problem. You can simply multiply your pledge amount by the number of ‘packages’ you want. Ie, if you would like 2 of a pledge, you would multipy the pledge amount by 2. Example: you would like two MAGDOG Collar & Leash packages. So you would multiply the $70 (KS Special) by 2 = $140.00. You would ‘over’ pledge at checkout. We use a service called BakerKit to help with processing Kickstarter fulfillment, and it will be through BackerKit that you will specify the color & size of your pledge, and you will be able to add more items there if desired.

Are you guaranteeing delivery of my reward on or before the end of February 2018?
While we will certainly be working non-stop to ensure we get every last backer reward shipped out as early as possible, our target delivery of February, 2018 - a target. If you’re familiar with the processes involved in bringing a product through development, you probably know that there are many factors that are outside of our control once we go to production. With our current timeline, we are extremely optimistic that we will be able to deliver before March 2018. We will do everything in our power to avoid shipping later than our goal, but this date is not a guarantee.

What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of Kickstarter, we cannot offer refunds to backers once the project ends, with the exception of the unlikely instance of a defective reward being shipped out. Once the campaign ends, your pledges are put to use immediately to ensure that Magdog products enter into production as soon as possible. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds once the campaign has ended.

I live outside the United States. WIll I have to pay duties/VAT to receive my reward?
This depends on your local tax code. Any applicable duties/VAT are the sole responsibility of the backer, and not our team. We have absolutely no control over charging each backer additional duties/VAT at the time the pledge is made, and so these fees (if applicable) may be imposed at the time of receiving the package. If you are unsure whether or not you will be charged duties/VAT at the time of receiving your reward, please get in touch with your local post office.

What shipping method will you use to send my reward?
For all US backers, we’ll likely be using USPS. For international backers, we are still exploring options between FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Due to variations in how international shipments are handled by the destination country, there are certain instances in which international backers may experience a delay of several days to several weeks once the package has arrived in its country of destination. Rest assured, this is likely due to a slight holdup in the customs process, and once this process has taken its course your reward will arrive.

Are the pictures / video on the campaign the final version of the Magdog products?
No, but they’re pretty darn close! The Magdog products you’re seeing in our video and images on this page are the final prototypes of our design. The final version of the Magdog line will be very close to this, though small changes in materials, functionality, and design may take place as we hear more feedback from the community! (The closest to final are the studio shots in the campaign body)

Why is shipping so expensive for international backers?
We wish that we could ship Magdog products worldwide for a couple bucks, but unfortunately these are the prices we have been quoted by various shipping carriers. In fact, the real shipping prices are higher than what we’ve listed, as we are trying to subsidize some of the cost. That being said, we’re doing our very best to negotiate lower prices with these carriers so that we can make Magdog even more accessible to everyone, regardless of where they may live.

When do I provide my shipping details?
Kickstarter doesn’t ask for shipping details when you back our project, because there’s a chance that certain backers will have different addresses by the time we are ready to ship. We’ll ask for your shipping details when we send out our backer survey, which will be emailed to you after the project ends and shortly before we ship.

How close do i need to get the Leash to the Collar or Harness before the MAG:LATCH engages/connects?
Thanks to our MAG:ZONE technology, we are able to enhance the ‘pull-zone’ of the MAG:LATCH. This enhanced pull zone gives about a 3-4 inch radius for when the MAG:LATCH with start to engage.

How strong is the MAG:LATCH? It comes together and pulls apart so easily. How does it not disengage when in use?
MAG:LATCH can hold a static load of 300lbs. Its strength & security is only slightly overshadowed by its lightning fast ease-of-use. The MAG:LATCH benefits from the mechanical locking function of a standard buckle, and the strength of rare earth neodymium magnets. The pull release tab is the only way to disengage the MAG:LATCH, and this tab can’t be accidentally released under tension.

Could my dog ever chew through the Argos material in the Collar / Harness / Leash?
We aren’t going to say never, but it would be highly unlikely! Argos is inspired by the material that is used on white water rafts, and it is incredibly puncture resistant.

MAGDOG products carry a lifetime warranty that protects the original owner against material and manufacturer defect. The product must be registered on magdog.com within the first 30 days of receipt to activate the lifetime warranty. Normal wear and tear is not warranted. Normal wear and tear can look like scuffs and dings on hardware after some well worn adventures. Normal wear and tear does not look like the stitching or welding ripping, material failing, etc - that would be covered in our warranty.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
